NEVER FORGET WHERE YOU CAME FROM...NUNCA!

Special to El Run-Rrun

Mexican American graduate Jennifer Rocha honored her farmworker parents with graduation photos in the fields that shaped her journey.

Jennifer Rocha graduated from UC San Diego in 2021 and returned to the California fields where she had worked alongside her migrant farmworker parents since high school.

She said the photos were meant to honor their sacrifices and the lessons that pushed her toward higher education. Rocha earned a sociology degree focused on law and society.

The term Mexican American implies she is a natural citizen of America of Mexican decent, so, great her parents worked to put her in school, so did mine. I could have taken my graduation photos at my dads bakery, or took them washing the dishes because mom was a stay at home mom. We should all celebrate our parents who loved us, took care of us, and raised us. That is AMERICA.

now that is very inspiring to not forget where your roots come from and respectively honoring your family and its roots good for her and that is what new generations forget or overlook.

I worked doing this for 27 years so my children didn’t have to, but they knew how hard it was because they worked weekends, too until they graduated,. Oldest joined the Marines, second works in Doctor’s office, third and fourth work at Sysco for over 20 years .

The Israelis who required that idiot Trump launch the attack didn't really care if it worked or not...they wanted the US involved. . . period.
