The would-be inquisition of Dr. Anthony Fauci last week by Kentucky Senator Rand Paul and his cabal of the crass and the crude, did not go as planned.
One of the inquisitors dropped an F-bomb as if that were par for the course in the U.S. Senate, that once dignified forum of ideas and debate. Dr. Fauci took the high road and pled the 5th, denying the shameless the opportunity they so desperately wanted.
I, on the other hand, have chosen the low road and decided to tell the spineless exactly what I think, and maybe what Dr. Fauci might have been thinking:

It is reasonable for me to assume that Israel is manipulating
and forcing the US into attacking and destroying Iran. Most military analysts agree that the US has lost this conflict, and that no conventional military action will turn this into a US strategic victory
One has to ask why the Gulf states trusted USA to protect them, when USA has been working with Israel to help create the Greater Israel Project which includes huge areas of Gulf state land? From what I learned from growing up during the Cold War was that if the things ever escalated into a real full nuclear war is that you're best off heading toward ground zero instead of away from it or toward a bunker because in the long run your better off dying in a nuclear blast than trying to survive whatever happens afterwards no matter if you're in a zone far from the blasts or hunkered down in a bunker. The long and short of it is that in the event of a civilization ending war occurring the problems caused by lack of food/supplies along with other issues means that only a small percentage of people have a chance to survive (likely the ones who are no longer dependent on society/civilization or who could easily make the transition) and anyone that is dependent on either society or their own stockpile of supplies are living on borrowed time. My guess is that is around 99% of the population in most developed countries so the odds of anyone reading this surviving WW 3 is about slim to none.

I was with Headquarters Group of the 1st Marine Air Wing from Apr ‘69 through Oct ‘70 at the Da Nang Air Base. We were on the opposite side of the air strip from the Air Force. I was walking through the Air Force compound one day and passed their swimming pool. There was a sign on it that said “People with V.D. And Marines keep out”. I never understood the animosity that they had for Marines, but it really didn’t matter since we had very limited interaction with Air Force personnel anyway. We all had our jobs to do.
