Judge Timothy J. Kelly of the U.S. District Court in Washington granted a 14-day restraining order and told the White House to “immediately return, reinstate, and restore” the press credentials held by employees of the three outlets.
The news organizations were likely to succeed in their claim that the White House had violated their constitutional due process rights by revoking their press credentials without advance notice or an opportunity to respond, Judge Kelly wrote in the order issued in the early hours of Thursday.
He also rejected, for now, the administration’s argument that revoking the outlets’ press credentials was necessary to protect national security.

I heard Iran offered a "Sweet Heart Deal."
If Trump resigns from office. . . Iran will open the Strait of Hormuz immediately and not charge a fee for any ship, things would function normally like they were before the war.
Of course I can't verify this win-win deal, but i'd take it quick. It'll give us time to lick our wounds because we got our asses kicked.
Trump is going to wait until after the election. That way he can blame the Democrats for cowering to Iran and ending his war. He’s up to his neck in guano with no way out. November can’t come soon enough. Time for impeachment, real oversight and accountability. Freeze his ill-gotten finances until he sees his day in court. Anyone who facilitated his crimes needs to be dealt with too.

Numerous nations are engaged in conflict and sustaining casualties in efforts to establish peace throughout the Middle East. Meanwhile, we are expressing complaints. A significant portion of the American population lacks the fortitude and commitment necessary to make sacrifices for their nation. Should one believe that the Iranian government would unconditionally open the Strait of Hormuz without conditions, such a perspective would be fundamentally misguided. An Iran possessing nuclear weapons would constitute a substantial threat to global security. Such weapons would likely be deployed initially against Middle Eastern nations, subsequently against Israel, and eventually against the United States. Multiple presidential administrations declined to implement decisive measures. They recognized this outcome was inevitable and prioritized temporary stability alongside their continued political standing. This approach reflects both weakness and apprehension.
The communist party must experience electoral defeat. The Republican party initiated this conflict and therefore bears the responsibility for its resolution. The war's conclusion will significantly influence which political faction will govern for an extended period. Should the communist party prevail in the electoral process, they will assume accountability for the resulting consequences. This represents a substantial setback for the communist party. I am presenting this perspective as an independent voter.
