Half the population in this area appears to make a living through cash-based work, drug activity, or the sale of stolen property. So what exactly makes Guerra any different? If there are no tangible indicators of legitimate income, he is hardly an exception—he is simply another pea in the pod. Meanwhile, others living in Section 8 housing while allegedly owning income-producing properties in another city raise little to no concern. Yet somehow, none of this seems to trouble the voters who continue to support the self-proclaimed king of fraud. The double standards are glaring, and the hypocrisy is impossible to ignore.
