I wonder what happened to the good folks at El Mesquital. They have so little.
I would appreciate any info.

Todd George, Vice President of Valley Trucking Co. has provided me with big trailers and promised as many as we might need, He also moves them around as needed. Todd gave me a big stack of wood pallets and several rolls of shrink wrap. This is important as we have to be able to put the donated stuff on pallets and shrink wrap them for easy loading the goods on trucks for shipment to Mexico.

Charlie and Kevin Isabel of the Bingo Garden on Price and Expressway have provided me space in their parking lot. They have provided over 20 scouts, their scout leaders and many other volunteers free refreshments and use of their rest rooms. they have one of their Bingo Staff open the trailer each morning for the volunteers. They are giving me their full support.

My brother John loaned me the parking lot in front of the old Ablertson's Store that he has an ownership position in.
The Brownsville city chapalin, Brad Burke has been where ever I asked him to be just like magic ever since we started this project. He sat by himself in the hot sun all day the first day we opened the trailer at 4 corners because a volunteertgroup had a personal emergency and could not be there as promised. He is another quiet hero!
Rio Grande Marine Institute (RGMI Kids Inc) manned this same 4 corners (Now called Boca Chica Crossing) donation trailer location Fri and Sat. They had over 16 kids there over the 2 days they were there. They were awesome!!!!

Dr.Satnam Bhondi at J,K, Family Clinic had their marketing director, Eduardo Bustos call me. He agreed to have some banners made and to call some of the local doctors in Brownsville's medical community to pay for them. He had them designed and made in two days.

When he started calling for donations, the first doctor he called was Dr.Khadim Hussian, the emergency director at Valley Baptist Hospital. Dr Hussian asked how much the eight banners we needed for a city wide effort would cost. Eduardo explained that he had negotiated a price of $600.00 for the 8 banners that were 8 ft by 8 ft.. Dr. Hussian quietly wrote a check for all of them. He asked for no credit. This guy is a real hero in my book!.

I have had over one hundfed people help me on this project over the last week. They all did it from the heart...with no parades!!

Say it isn't so, the rumor is you are going out of business, just like el Rocinante, and Brownsville's voice. Is this true???

(the rumor is you are going out of business)

According to the Tribune the Rrun Rrun went down early this morning. They sounded very happy about it to. But as you can see, apparently not.

They did. Sent my wife over to the trailer on Price and the expressway. She didn't get a receipt, though. Hope it gets to those poor people. Sure it will.
