The guy in the video is just being a prick. The Border Patrol is well within their rights to have those checkpoints and do an immigration inspection.
This is the kind of jerk that saying to the DPS, "I don't have to show your my license to prove I have a right to drive this car on the roads of Texas."

Word is that DPS is working on including a Texan's citizenship on their driver licenses. I believe it's a very good idea. It'll help keep the riff-raff out of the way. Especially at the Lonestar card office.

Failure to identify is against the law, this prick should have had his dumb fucked up ass arrested. Try doing this shit in Mexico, and this asshole would have his ass kicked all over the place.
Obviously most of the readers of this blog have never travelled intenationally.....you leave your passport when checking into a hotel, you show your papers or passport on trains, planes, buses, boats, etc when travelling from country to country. Here, the cops don't check insurance (thus we have one of the highest incidences of uninsured drivers in Texas and possibly the US), some whine about having to show proof or registration to vote, many whine at being asked to prove anything. BUT, to get food stamps or welfare most of these folks would show proof by condesending to any unatural act to get what they want. For the middle class, perhaps we should just quit our jobs and rely on Obamacare to provide all out needs....but, alas, who would be working to pay the bills?????????

The worst part of the video is the lack of training and decision making of the agents. The refusal to comply with a lawful order is cause to arrest in Texas. Al least he should have been sent to secondary inspection. It’s sad that the agents baked down after being confronted by that jerk. What if he could have being carrying contraband? More training for those agents please!

I feel certain the officers saw the camera and knew they were being set up, which they were. They decided not to play the prick's game.
I noticed on the first stop, he did not get detained. At the second stop he became more confrontational but still it didn't work.
How do you go through two checkpoints unless your are driving in circles and going through them on purpose? My hat is off to the Agents for not falling into this guys trap.
I'm all for freedom but this guy won't get very far pulling on Superman's cape. Dumb ass.
