JUDGE NIXES BEGUM VOTER FRAUD CASE, NO EVIDENCE HEARD

By Juan Montoya
It happened, appropriately, on the same day, in the same judicial building where the sheriff was auctioning tax-foreclosed properties taken from county residents to the highest bidder.
A visiting judge – deciding that Erin Hernandez Garcia's right to appeal the case in the event she lost  the voter fraud case filed against her by her opponent Yolanda Begum – said there would not be enough time for the voting process to begin late September and dismissed the case against the Democratic nominee for Justice of the Peace 2-2.
She faces Republican nominee Raul Lopez in November.
Senior Judge J. Bonner Dorsey granted Garcia’s motion to dismiss the lawsuit after considering the argument by Garcia’s attorney Horacio Barrera who said that there was just not enough time for a contest to take its course all the way to the appellate process without interfering with timetables required by Texas law regarding the November General Election.
"Tell Yolanda she can pick up her signs now," gloated Erin in front of the courthouse against the din of the tax-delinquent property auction.
As a consolation, Dorsey told the parties that the issues in the case should be made public. How, he did not say.
There was not one ounce of evidence heard on the massive fraud that took place before the public's eye. There was not one witness called of those elderly subpeonaed to testify that their votes were cast for them by politiqueras in the employ of the candidates.
There was not one of those elderly who took the time to go to the courtroom  who was allowed to tell the court – and the public – how she or he had been led along by Hernandez's politqueros and politiqueras to fill in the ovals for their candidates locked up in a van after the Cameron County Elections Office personnel allowed the ballots to be taken to them and the politiqueros directed them how to vote.
In fact, when the witnesses arrived to testify at 10 a.m. they were met by a female bailiff at the entrance who told them to leave and comeback at 1 p.m.
In the case of one elderly couple, when Begum's supporters tried to induce them to stay until the 1 p.m. hearing, they were forcefully separated from them and sequestered in a room until the case was dismissed and they were told they could go.
"The whole courthouse is filled with Erin's supporters," said a Begum campaign worker. "They wouldn't even let us talk to our own witnesses. And when the case was postponed until 1 p.m., the female bailiff ordered them to leave and come back then even as we were trying to get them to stay and wait."
There is till the possibility that the voluminous trove of evidence and documentation of voter fraud compiled by the Begum camp will make its way to state and federal authorities here and in Austin. However, that is still to be decided.
"We're disappointed," said Cowen's, Begum's attorney, noting that in the end, the judge could have allowed the trial to take place in 2 to 3 days. Then the loser could have petitioned the appeals court to have an expedited appellate review.
The case precedent, according to attorneys in the case, was TAYLOR v. NEALON et al, heard in the Supreme Court of Texas and decided Nov. 2, 1938.

OUTRAGEOUS. THE POINT WAS TO SHOW THE FRAUD NOT STOP THE ELECTION PROCESS. SO IF YOU ARE A CROOK AND YOUR FATHER DOES NOT PAY $800,000.00 IN FEDERAL TAXES THAN YOU ARE A WINNER FOR JUSTICE OF THE PEACE. THE HERNANDEZ FAMILY SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED BY THE FBI. IF THE STATE DOES NOT WANT TO MOVE THEN FEDERAL - FBI ... THE PROOF IS THERE IN REGARDS TO VIOLATIONS OF FEDERAL LAW.

I AM VOTING REPUBLICAN IN NOVEMBER. RAUL LOPEZ. ITS MY PROTEST VOTE AGAINST THE HERNANDEZ WRONG DOING IN THIS COUNTY.

Leave it to a lawyer to base his opinions on a case over 70 years old.

"The whole courthouse is filled with Erin's supporters, " ???????????
There were some yes, just as there were some Begum supporters. And all those people in the photo, they were there for the auction , not the alleged voter fraud case filed against Erin H. Garcia by her opponent Yolnda Teran Begum.
Ms. Begum can pursue her case if she so desires, but in my opinion it would be a waste of her money and time. Time to move on.

I am without words...Mrs Garcia "feels there was nothing done wrong." Of course she feels this way, they lie, cheat and have no integrity...do you think she even has a conscience of what is right and wrong??
Wake up citizens of Brownsville, if you are as outraged as I am then let's change this around. The ONLY thing left to do is vote for Mr. Raul Lopez in November. I urge you to do something constructive with your outrage and disbelief...VOTE Raul Lopez!!
Time to show the Hernandez Family that Brownsville has had enough and wants CHANGE!

Wake up Cameron County! The one who caused this fiasco and allowed it to happen was Roger Ortiz? Again, this fucking idiot who is more concerned about going out dancing then ensuring that the election process is done right, helped his co-hort or that "snake" Ernie Hernandez.
Can Begum run as an Independent now? She obviously beat out "Miss Piggy" on election day?

This Democrat voted for Cascos to get rid of Gilberts cheating, lying ass. I will do the same to support Raul Lopez! I wish there was a Republican running against Gomez. But I think we did Well with Luis Saenz!

Orale, raza! Si los Hernandez comparan a todos, let's go and show them that our votes are not for sale. Go vote for Raul Lopez because can you imagine a person like Erin sitting in a judges robe and telling people they did something wrong? Por favor! Ya Basta!

Now is time for Mr. Lopez to do some damage control... if he wants to win in November. Turn things around now that the court ruled that the tactics used by Garcia were okay. Then.....

The gloves need to come off and it's time to play the same game Mr. Lopez. You got to play dirty if you want to win in November. That's the game book in this county!

Turn things around now that the court ruled that the tactics used by Garcia were okay.

No, the court did not say the tactics were okay, nor did the court rule on the case or allow evidence to be heard. It was dismissed because there was not enough time to appeal. In lieu of a civil case, the judge suggested the information the Begum's have should be sent to law enforcement. Facing criminal prosecution is where the Hernandez will undoubtedly end up. Does Lopez want to be in the same boat ...;

Agreed...the last thing Mr. Lopez needs is to.stoop down to the Hernandez' level. He has to win this race fair and square, with OUR votes!
