3 WORKING GIRLS SNAGGED IN HIGH DENSITY TRAFFICKING AREA OPERATION DOWNTOWN; COPS OVERTIME JUSTIFIED

By Juan Montoya
In response to the proliferation of working girls (and guys) who ply their wares (as it were) by the Colonial Hotel and the Cameron Motel downtown, the local chapter of the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area, or HIDTA, a task force that combats drug trafficking and money laundering, raided these locales, arrested three women, and prevented the torrent of drugs and stymied money laundering in downtown Brownsville.
Of course, the working girls who remained at large merely moved down the block a bit. But for one day, the site remains a lonely, desolate place, just as the customers who seek their services.
Our courageous law enforcement agents arrested three women Consuelo Reyes, 47, Maria Olvera Paz, 45, and Janelle Alexandra Gonzalez, 31, who may (or may not have been) involved in intense drug trafficking activities hustling johns at these places.
In keeping with the goals of the HIDTA, the program, conducted by the  conducted by the Brownsville Special Investigations Unit, the Cameron County District Attorney’s Office and the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area task force, kept these alleged purveyors of the poisons showing they were pro-active to prevent the distribution of controlled substances in areas determined to be critical drug-trafficking regions of the United States.
According to the Obama White House website, the mission of the HIDTA is to "reduce drug trafficking and production in the United States by:
Facilitating cooperation among Federal, state, local, and tribal law enforcement agencies to share information and implement coordinated enforcement activities;
Enhancing law enforcement intelligence sharing among Federal, state, local, and tribal law enforcement agencies;
Providing reliable law enforcement intelligence to law enforcement agencies to facilitate the design of effective enforcement strategies and operations; and
Supporting coordinated law enforcement strategies that make the most of available resources to reduce the supply of illegal drugs in designated areas of the United States and in the Nation as a whole."
With the arrest of these three women who we are sure were dealing in high volumes of drugs and engaged in money laundering, local residents may rest assured that law enforcement has put a crimp on these dastardly activities.
If not, then the arrests of these high-value targets justifies the funds spent to pay these law enforcement officers so they could arrest the defendants who may hustle their customers for perhaps $20 for a "date."
Come to think of it, perhaps sex can be considered addictive and a drug to be removed so as not to entice those weaker souls among us who may be tempted to taste a piece of strange stuff once in a while.
To put a perspective on the HIDTA operation, one of the women – Reyes – also faces an outstanding Cameron County warrant for failing to appear for a possession-of-cocaine case.
We're sure these women surely knew of drug cartel activities which distribute million of drugs in street value to poison our children and probably were just faking getting paid a few bucks per trick to conceal their multimillion dollar money-laundering activities. Yeah, that's it. That's the ticket.
Whew! We feel so safe now.

A big kudos to our fearless law enforcement officials for this hard hit to organized crime, after a surgical precise intelligence operation, the arrested 3 of the most feared crime members in town, dismembering a vicious ring of money laundering, drug trafficking and prostitution

I wonder if they used the armored vehicle, dogs, choppers and snipers on El Jardin Hotel to stop these fiends. Thank Goodness no officer was killed. Next time such an operation is undertaken, please do not take chances with our local,state and federal boys. This is a job for Black opps, special forces, Navy Seal, Force Recon, Delta Force kind of individuals that have had the training to perform such dangerous assignments. P.S. Were any drugs found ?

I thought Mayor Tony was travelling to the western coast of Mexico for some high-powered meeting last weekend? Did he make it back? Or did we have to send in the army?

Wow, last time I went to the Ross downtown, I noticed 4-5 girls hanging around that area. I also noticed a lady from the hotel waving to one of them to go over. I figured they were hookers and up to no good.

Glad they got arrested. Should also investigate the hotel lady.

The other day I was flipping through the channels and came accross a show called "Border Wars." I saw as fifteen or twenty agents on foot, in trucks and a helicopter rushed to catch two guys who had just crossed the border. I couldn't believe the resources these agents wasted to find these two guys.

Downtown Brownsville will forever be a slum and shit hole as long as whore, junkies, vagrants, bar flies and other losers are allowed to hang around. Any efforts to rid the streets of this human flotsam are appreciated.

Prostitutes need to eat just like everyone else. They would not be there if there was not a demand for their services. And like all of of you out there making nasty comments, like you are some kind of prize, NOT! Just close your eyes, it's all good.
