The files in all other counties of Texas are available for no cost to the Public. (the voters.)
Not in Cameron County. If elected will you do as every other County in Texas does for the files ?
In Cameron County the contract with the vendors is so wrong that
the vendor and the County keep the fees instead of having the same Contract as do other Counties in the State of Texas.
Yes we know the fees are approved and set by the State Legislature so don't hide behind double talk.
Cameron County is the only county who keeps the files and public information from the PUBLIC.

He doesn't have nor my vote or my family's or friends vote. He states he is for the community and the people but that is not so. He is just in it to see what he gets out it. He has no clue in what the county clerk really consist of. No sir your commercial does not convince me, I can see the lying person you are in your face, you're not one to be trusted.

@ February 11,2014 @ 2:26pm My friend that was a done deal by county commissioner David Garza and approved by the rest of the commissioners. Nothing against Mr. Flores he's only taking orders from the court and may not have a job after this election. My question? Is commissioners Garza actions any different from commissioners Ernie Hernandez?
Is the H/R department really efficient to have? There are only a few employees that actually fall under the H/R. The rest of the county employees fall under their perspective elected official. Its the elected officials that make the ultimate decision in hiring. eliminate H/R and return each H/R position to the perspective elected officials. Let them become responsible and hold them accountable for their actions for mistakes they make. For each wrongful termination make it hurt in their perspective budget. Voters don't blame the high paid employees blame the elected officials. Is this practice going to stop? I don't think so, until we hold each elected official responsible for their actions and lack of actions. Voters really want a change? well then boot out every incumbent and those elected officials that are seeking more retirement benefits. lets send a clear message to the old political machine.
Good point...David Garza orders the H.R. department to do away with recommendations for the most qualified person and to hire Zamora. He even made the H.R. department change the required qualifications of holding a degree to hire Zamora! Where is the D.A. on this one?
