By Juan Montoya
Some people choose to live a very public life, and given the social media like Facebook, they sometimes get the chance to do it.
Many attribute the proverb "“Be careful what you wish for because you are liable to get it,” to the Chinese, but wherever it comes from, it rings true with Ms. Tetreau.
We all remember that it was at Club 151 that our feisty miss got it on with her hubby that resulted in the first of about six physical confrontations that had the Brownsville Police Dept. answering at least five domestic violence calls to their home and business.
That passion resulted in the city commissioner getting hauled in to the city jail at least once after police determined that it was her who had assaulted him in a jealous rage. That earned her a cameo on the city's website after her arrest.
The "tremendous love for the city" she says she has apparently didn't carry over to the workers at the couple's car wash business that resulted in them paying fines and back pay to the employees.
We all know that the commissioner is up for re-election and is trying to get in the good graces with the voters. But she should know better that waxing poetic about her very selective memories on the worldwide web will incur responses from those who remember more than she wishes they did.
And that, as Paul Harvey used to say, is the rest of the story!
