The investigators with the Cameron County Sheriff's Department hadn't even filed their reports on an armed robbery at a clandestine 8-Liner arcade before District Attorney Luis Saenz was on television trying to resurrect crusade against the gambling establishments.
Some sheriff dept. employees were miffed to find out that Saenz had granted interviews to the television stations even before the true nature of the alleged armed robbery was known.
Investigators report that robbers entered the gambling business, located at 1213 FM 511, with a AK-47 firing two shots and demanding money.
"The bad guys know there a lot of money on the table, so to speak," Saenz intoned. "We're lucky no one was hurt..."
In the past, Saenz had failed to act on alleged crimes saying that it was the purview of the investigating bodies (police, sheriff's deputies, other law enforcement) and that he only got involved when a report landed on his desk.
And after the press conference on te robberies, some wondered whether the 8-liner machines that keep popping up unexpectedly might not be some of the 500-plus that Sanez sold instead of destroying them as he had promised at the inception of Operation Bishop.
"If they are – and there's no way to know if they're not – Luis is having it both ways," said one of Sanez's critics.
In the case of the alleged armed robbery of the clandestine 8-Liner arcade on FM 511, it took all five days for the DA to get on his soapbox to remind the viewers that he had told them so.
Investigators with the Sheriff's Department said they are searching for several suspects involved in the armed robbery case and that the case is still under investigation.

DA Luis Saenz sunk when he tried to walk on water. After his 3rd attempt he turned to Mellissa Zamora and George and said NOW WHAT??? Well we need to make some sort of press release when Mellissa said to Luis hum you know the voters are stupid and Luis said Yes..AND WHAT, then George said I'm going to call my friends at all the law enforcement agencies to find out who put this much water inside the Resaca that is when they looked at each other and said WE GOT IT.
"Breaking News": DA Luis Saenz successfully tried to walk on water but was unsuccessful due to the fact that although he was successful to step onto the water the Resaca had to much H2O and was confused with H20 which is a code used by undercover law enforcement. Based on the information gathered we are launching a new task force to find out the whereabouts of the amount of water poured at one time into the Resaca. We are happy to work hand in hand with ALL major entities tied to the release of H20 or H2O. Somehow some way we will get to the bottom of it. We will triumph in obtaining Justice.

According to the NSA, the D.A. Is raiding the 7 liners because they are a gambling threat to the Las Vegas syndicate. The Naco people would rather remain in NACOVILLE and gamble their dimes and quarters here than go to Sin City. (Naco Security Agency reporting )
We hear that all machines collected by the DA in raids are sold and the money goes to the DA's office. Saenz is a DICK! He is like a little match in a fireworks display. He is a loser and this "anti 8 liners" is just a way to get media attention and give the appearance that he is serving the community. Just convict criminals and leave the little people who risk a few dollars for entertainment.
