That slogan truly sucks. They decided to get rid of "On the Border By the Sea" because that promotes tourism, and they are sacrificing us instead. They should have a picture of a VAPOR CLOUD over Laguna Vista, Port Isabel, South Padre, and Los Fresnos "Igniting the future of the RGV".

"Ignite the Future" JOINTS in Texas. We move enough "weed" through Brownsville to "Ignite" all of Texas. It is weak attempt to link Brownsville with SPACEX....by Rene Oliviera's cousin. Why doesn't Mayor Tony Martinez, Rose Zavaletta Gowen and their cohorts spend city tax dollars to benefit the citizens who live here. Tony is worse than Pat Ahumada....because Tony's administration is not transparent and Pat loved to talk. The citizens of Brownsville deserve better from their elected officials...but this fiscal waste will continue as long as the citizens sit on their thumbs and refuse to take a stand.
