DE COSS APPOINTED JUDGE OF 445TH DISTRICT COURT

René De CossGovernor Greg Abbott has appointed René De Coss of Rancho Viejo as judge of the 445th Judicial District Court in Cameron County for a term set to expire at the next general election in November 2016.
René De Coss is a solo practitioner and currently serves as an associate municipal judge for the City of Brownsville.
He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and is a former member of the Cameron County Bar Association and Cameron County Criminal Defense Bar Association.
The term expires at the next general election in November 2016.
De Coss, who is a lawyer and an associate municipal judge for the City of Brownsville, replaces judge Rolando Olvera, who is now a federal judge.
De Coss received a Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor from Baylor University.

Good luck Rene. You have now taken on the Cameron County Dumbokratic Party and the next election will be ugly. We wish you well, but hope you are prepared for running as an appointee of the Republican Governor.

With Morgan Graham as chair and good candidates like the ones they are getting we can only hope that some good people get elected pero it's Cameron County. I'm sure this man is a good pick and I hear that Oscar Garcia didn't get it.
