A GET-WELL SOON TO MIKE SALDANA FROM HIS FRIENDS

(Ed.'s Note: We were relieved to hear that former Brownsville Independent School District trustee and attorney Mike Saldaña was well and on his way to recovery after a scary moment following a cardiac event. Mike is well known in local legal circles and has extended his practice into Hidalgo and Willacy County and beyond. His friends have assured us that all is well now and Mike will have to watch his diet, etc., as he continues his way to a full recovery. A former Brownsville High School football player with the legendary 1969 Golden Eagles, he has always had the common touch that has earned him numerous friends in the city. Mike has never been reluctant to voice his opinion and whether you agree with him or not, he is part of the old Browntown mix. We join his friends in wishing him a swift recovery.)
