GUTY'S SON NOT TARGET, SHOOTS IT OUT WITH COPS OVER DRUGS

Various Sources
The son of Gustavo Cárdenas Gutiérrez, a federal deputy (representative) who ran on a "sweep-out the rascals" platform for governor of the stste of Tamaulipas, was wounded  in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon.
The shooting happened Tuesday afternoon and Javier Cárdenas Davila, 23, was rushed to the Zambrano Hellion Hospital in that city to be treated for gunshot wounds to one of his fingers and a forearm.
At the time the incidetn was initially reported, media sources said the incidenrt occurred in the parking lot of a convenience store and no details were available on the assailants or the motive for the attack.
Later, however, police sources indicate that the young Gutierrez is under police custody for alleged involvemnt in dealing in illegal drugs and that the confrontation in the convenience store parking lot came about after he evaded police and then tried to run over a police officer who ordered him to stop his Land Rover.
Apparently, the older Gutierrez neglected to sweep out the rascals at home.

Take your DD214 form to the Texas Workforce and ask for a job, any job. Tell them you know how to march and peel potatoes. Show them your sense of humor by telling them you're a journalist. ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja!
