Welcome to downtown Brownsville, home of Cameron County government and Brownsville city government and nada mas. The downtown area has become the seat of local government as the businesses downtown pull out for North Brownsville....the new Brownsville. All this was not part of government planning until the banks and other buildings were vacated by relocating business, especially banks. Why, because nobody was going downtown. So, now what are the tourist attractions....bike trails, cantinas and city and county government.

Ops something went wrong. The new logo "Come to downtown Brownsville and visit the Zoo of Corruption". In this building are the city leaders of shady deals and in this building are the county crooks. After your visit join us in one of our cantinas designed just like Austin's. Enjoy your view in a bike and follow our world class bike trails.
