Fowler of water

To think that such a bag
A cursed thing
Of polymers and oil
Can cause such stress

wandering through parking lots
Carrying wilted loaves of bread
And melting cheeses
Without you?
Searching for their ride
In vast parking lots
Without you

Fowler of water
Choker of drains
Fly on
The magistrate at city hall
Found ways to make some gold
By ordering that your use in stores
Be put on hold...
And generating coin
And gold...
A street sweeper, a truck
A trail for bikes
A pond for ducks
Until the far-off sheriff of the king
Ordered Browntown to"Desist"
"Thou cannot charge a fee."
So now you fly
Unwanted on mesquites
Or fences, or clog the ditch
Choker of drains,
To think one day
You would become
A boon for city coffers
A source of wealth for some
A waterer of fowl
For merchants,
A purse of gold

If you notice in H.E.B. and other grocery stores, it seems that the poor who get benefits are the ones with 25 plastic bags in their carts, they refuse to bring their own bags. The plastic bags must be paid for from their benefits. It seems in this community that those living off of welfare seem to be unwilling to recycle, take their own bags for groceries; but very likely threw out that bag in the picture. We here "pobrecitos" all the time, but all the free stuff that is provided for those "pobrecitos" only seems to make them feel that they are free of any responsibilities of being a good citizen.
Let's not let a plastic bag stuck on a wire (Perhaps that should be the city logo) distract us from the racism of our city commissioner Cesar de Leon. No doubt Tony Martinez told him to wait and the citizens would forget that de Leon is a racist. But, while I am around....I will remind folks through this blog that City Commissioner Cesar de Leon is a racist and a bigot and should resign from his elected post. We do not need a racist making policy decisions for this city. And, we don't need a Mayor who doesn't have the balls to deal with this issue. We worry and have public meetings about a rock that represents a long dead person, but we seem willing to accept having a living racist and bigot as a city commissioner. Is this because the Mayor and Cesar de Leon don't think Hispanics can be racist????? Had an Anglo city commissioner made such racist comments as did Cesar de Leon, that Anglo city commissioner would have been run out of town. Cesar de Leon is a racist and should not be excused.
We should market the duck population to the restaurants.
Understand they have to fly in for their fresh fowl from wholesalers.
The city should offer bounties too. Dead ducks should be worth a few bucks.

Who cleans up the duck shit??? Does the city collect it to be fertilizer? Notice, there are no human beings on this very expensive resaca deck. I have seen a lot of black ducks on that deck and wonder why Cesar de Leon hasn't eliminated them for fear that the black ducks will challenge his culture.
It is the mojados that take out their goodies from the bags in order to hide them as being brand new when they cross the bridge back into their nation. Take the bags over there and discard them in your mess.
The ducks have more protection than the patrons of the BUS in Brownsville.
Well, I guess since the bikes have more protection than cars, it stands to reason.
Since Cyclobias take over the city cuando se le incha a la Gowen, why not the ducks?

The bernards have done nothing for this city but rob poor people of their hard earned money by selling them over priced properties and homes. Yet they have a road named after them and a stupid park at these poor people's tax monies. They have a poor white bear that they killed as you enter their office what a dam shame. Yet they take pride in animal protection rights. First class hipocrates.
