Further, news media requests for the blood test performed on Oliveira based on a judge's warrant to determine his alcohol-blood level content or detect other drugs he might have ingested has not been released and police are fighting open records requests for police-car dashcam and officers' body cams tapes to delay their release until the election is over by asking for a Texas Attorney General's opinion.

But is Oliveria's mind still muddled and in a fog and he forget that it was his letter of support (as well as Eddie Lucio III's) that brought the plants to the Port of Brownsville to begin with? By the time the issue reached the county in October 2017, both the state and the port commissioners had given them their approval years before. It was a done deal.

And he wants to make sure that they aren't just around for a mere 30 years. He went "fighting" for them again with his bill to allow the Port of Brownsville to lengthen the terms of their leases to 50 years in 2015. That's when the contributions started. (See graphic, click to enlarge.)
Yeah, we can see why Oliveira would want to divert voters' attention away from his "personal" matters and instead ridicule his opponent over an issue from which he has profited handsomely.

Rene Oliveira is a two faced lieing SCUMBAG, who pimped his girlfriend who was client out to his then client. He took money under false pretenses and did not inform his partners or declare it on his tax return, and I know where he spent the money. I have stated that I am waiting to see the outcome of the election before I break the story, then the story will become national news, as the local news will hide it like the past DWI. Anyone else would have faced ten charges, be automatically disqualified and $100k bond. Rene Oliveira will not make it to Austin only to clean out his desk.
Want to see something funny, call MADD office in Austin and have them react to him see what they do.
Why would you be waiting for the outcome of the election in order to "break the story?" You're no better than Oliveira. It seems as if you're also serving your best interests, or have some other ulterior motive.
That, or you don't have any story to begin with, and you're just adding to the chisme. Two wrongs don't make a right.
