She is currently the office manager for the Gilberto Hinojosa Law Firm, her husband and also Chairman of the Texas Democratic Party.
Hinojosa has over the years worked as Assistant Program Director at the La Esperanza Home for Boys, as a clinician there, and as a Parole Officer with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice - Parole Division.
Smart, energetic and a go-getter, she is also the past president of the Cameron County Texas Democratic Women.
Her community involvement goes beyond positions with pay. She has also volunteered her time as board member of the Proyecto Juan Diego in Cameron Park ( 3rd term), is a board member of the Community Development Corporation of Brownsville, recording secretary of the Catholic Daughters, Sacred Heart of Mary Court (2448), past board member of the Recovery Center of Cameron County, a Cameron County Democratic Party National Delegate, and Chair for Cameron County Precinct 9.

It has been rumored that Linda has taken an option of a square near the market square in case she looses the race, then she will open "Linda's Chapel of Love" she has visions of opening up ten such chapels throughout the RGV next year $$$$$, who cares about the elections, not Linda.
Wow, I thought I was the only one that was noticing how shameful our local politicians elected to a position of trust can quickly turn against those who once supported them. I saw it happen in the recent BISD election and now I read about it in Cameron County. But I do know that I learned a long time ago not to vote for any Hinojosa - related to "Mr, Biogotes" man. But if I stop and study candidates carefully, I guess I will draw my bubble on the margin of the ballot and write, none. But look at our leader! Lies, lies, lies a la Trump.

I find It ridiculous that its a necessity to instill in people the fact that she is an EDUCATED WOMAN. Apparently is something that due to her behavior or actions is not noticeable and it must be remarked on a campaign. Or was it that the actual stunt was to make Linda look like a common person? Which ever it is, the fact that it had to be voice out so everyone knows is just SAD.
