This week has not been a good one for City of Brownsville and Brownsville Independent School employees.
At least one staff member of each of these entities was said to have been arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.The city employee was Municipal Court deputy court clerk Patricia A. Rivas who was arrested Thursday, April 25.
She was charged with DWI, a Class A Misdemeanor. She was released from the Municipal Jail on Jackson Street in Brownsville. One report indicates that she was involved in an accident and the DPS was called.
The BISD employee, interim purchasing director, is said to be Delia Rodriguez, and she was charged with the same offense by the Department of Public Safety Wednesday.
The rumor mill at the BISD is that Rodriguez was arrested by DPS troopers April 24 after 11 p.m. as she left Cobbleheads on Central Blvd. Rodriguez did not disclose her place of employment on the arrest report.
She was released on bond from Rucker-Carrizles corrections center in Olmito.

Even the scumbag Rene Oliveria has had many drinking and driving mishaps, when drinking and driving and has gotten aware with it by flashing his card, then denied it the next day.

Call Rear ender cabs they cater for all types of officials Democrat or Republicans. You can even get a get out of jail card signed by Oliveria himself.
The state cops should park across from this joint and catch most if not the majority of elected officials and county and city employees driving out of there stupid drunk.
Never Forget. The Officers are here to Serve and Protect. I liked the cops of the days of old. But that is why we have Leadership within the BPD to ensure citizens are given every courtesy and Opportunity to GET HOME SAFELY. Turn the focus on Service instead of racking up the numbers and possibly ending someone's career. P.S. When was the last time a BPD officer was charged with DWI by another BPD officer ?

There is still the state troopers that can book anybody when they grow some BALLS. They are scared shitless to touch Cobbleheads as they never know who they are going to catch. They have been warned booking people from Cobbleheads in case they tag a big fish, that they can't let go, so they got no balls and they stay away.
You will not get a DUI by a trooper with no balls from Cobbleheads, maybe the local cops that have been ordered away from certain cars.

BISD employees are the slimiest of the slime and you can always see them at low life places like the bars downtown, south winds, and tucán. BISD employees have the most bottom of the totem pole employees with the worst issues. On the bright side for BISD, there is always worse and that’s county coming in at #1. Compared to County, BISD is a close #2, but sometimes the lines blur and they can both be found at #1. An example of this blur would be teachers barely able to speak English correctly too. GO Charter Schools!!! Much better rigor and better for the community than BISD.
