(Ed.'s Note: The Civil Service hearing on the appeal of former Brownsville Fire Dept. Chief Carlos Elizondo expected to last until Friday proceeded today at the community room at the Metro Bus Terminal. The indefinite suspension letter to Elziondo by by Chief Jarrett V. Sheldon was more 21 pages long and all those issues must be judged by the hearing officer. The proceedings were to continue Friday at 8:30 a.m.

I can't imagine the extent of the military's hatred for Trump after he has deeply disrespected by pardoning the convicted Navy Seals and saying the Navy has to allow them to stay and serve. Military personnel uphold HONOR and engage in strict DISCIPLINE no matter the circumstances. They have to. They are the best. They are what makes our military the best. Offenders must be expelled at once.
Trump is a draft dodger whose father bought deferrments from a doctor to have him falsely claim Donald had "bone spurs." A poor but honest patriot had to take Donald's place - and may have paid the ultimate price. To have this dishonorable draft dodger allow offenders and washouts to infiltrate respectable military is simply unacceptable. This cannot stand.

Carlos deserves to get back everything this messy situation took from him. Someone needs to remove Sheldon. He is a disgrace to the city if Brownsville.
He will get his job back. Just look at what happened in San Benito. They say the x-Chief violated over 50 rules n regulations and he was only give a letter of reprimand. And was put back as LT the position he had. So the same will happen to Mr Elizondo. Just ask Mr. Navarro.

My Son is active military, and his wife is in the reserves. I have never heard them say anything negative about President Trump.

I believe that the judicial system gave him justice, therefore there is a need for restitution, compensation and implementation of employment.
