IS IT OMAR, ERIC, OR MICHAEL? OR NONE OF THE ABOVE?

(Ed.'s Note: One of our readers has a knack for funny quips and when he sent us this photo he said it was one of Omar Lucio in his youth. Then he said it may have been challenger Eric Garza or Michael Galvan trying out sheriff's dud before the election.

We have turned it over to El Rrun-Rrun's in-house historian and she informed us that after doing some research in her vast archives, it turns out that it was neither. She also discounted the allegations that it could have been Republican candidate John Chambers in a previous lifetime.

Instead, she said it was probably a cowpoke named Johnny Harris, and that the photo was among those taken by Robert Runyon of Brownsville. From the Robert Runyon Photograph Collection, courtesy of The Center for American History, The University of Texas at Austin.)

I am with Lucio. At least we know what we have with him. Questions have arisen with the other two candidates.

Let's talk for real.

Who is gonna be appointed to BISD board friday night?

What are persons thoughts on who "wins" this appointment?

The Deputies are not allowed to wear cowboy hats for several years now. Lucio would look ridiculous in one and maybe that is the reason.

Ah the racism towards gringos begins! And that is why Brownsville is stuck in the stone age.

I don't blame the administration for that regulation, now they don't want them to look like hillbillies LOL they want them to look more like meskins
