MATA BOYS BEING BAD: MAYOR LIVES HERE, HELP DEALS DOPE

Special to El Rrun-Rrun

As Matamoros Mayor Mario Alberto Lopez Hernandez continues his petition to Tamaulipas officials for the restriction of travel into Tamaulipas by Rio Grande Valley residents, Matamoros is one of the leading cities with COVID-19 positive cases and deaths.

Tha mayor made his plea during a teleconference this week with Tamaulipas Secretary of Health Gloria Molina Gamboa. He was among 43 other mayors from the state who participated in the teleconference on the virus.

As we have pointed out before, Lopez is between a rock and a hard place since he is one of the main travelers between both sides of the river.

Now that López has made it clear he doesn't want any of the potentially COVID-19-infected Brownsville amigos on his side of the Rio, how is he going to take care of his 25 pure-blood horses valued at more than $800,000 on his estate here?

For that matter, who is going to watch over his $1.5 million home and property outside San Benito?

Isn't he afraid that his help at the estate located at 26742 Guelker Road might come into contact with the contagion-laden Americanos on this side of the Rio?

And despite the prohibition by immigration law that someone with a visitor's visa cannot own real estate on the U.S. side of the border, he placed the properties under a corporation (Grupo 5M) and under the name of his wife Marsella Huerta Sosa.

Just as we should take his protest that he wants nothing of his American amigos with a grain of salt, so, too we must take note of some of  the shortcomings in his administration, perhaps with a snort of coke.

Last Friday, Rodrigo Iván Sánchez Cantú, the private secretary of the Secretary of Social Development of Matamoros, José Alberto Granados Favila., was arrested in Matamoros by Mexican Navy forces conducting surveillance. (That's  Sanchez with his boss at right.)

Sanchez, who came under the political aegis of the Morena political party when it took over Matamoros, was arrested with eight kilos of cocaine, 60 kilos of marijuana, and was carrying a .45-caliber pistol and a mobile radio, sources from Mexico's Attorney General's Office (FGR) revealed Sunday.

(They did not report finding ny money on him, naturally.)

The state delegation of the FGR, based in Reynosa, placed Sanchez into custody and charged him with possession of the narcotics, a vehicle, and the pistol. He was charged of crimes against health and carrying a  eapon for the exclusive use of the army.

He was detained in a Matamoros neighborhood Friday afternoon, when elements of the Secretary of the Navy carried out surveillance patrols.

Mayor Lopez has not made a comment on Sanchez's arrest. FGR sources also say that other municipal officials are also under suspicion of association with drug trafficking.

“Why do some British people not like Donald Trump?”

A few things spring to mind. Trump lacks certain qualities which the British traditionally esteem. For instance, he has no class, no charm, no coolness, no credibility, no compassion, no wit, no warmth, no wisdom, no subtlety, no sensitivity, no self-awareness, no humility, no honour and no grace – all qualities, funnily enough, with which his predecessor Mr. Obama was generously blessed. So for us, the stark contrast does rather throw Trump’s limitations into embarrassingly sharp relief.

Plus, we like a laugh. And while Trump may be laughable, he has never once said anything wry, witty or even faintly amusing – not once, ever. I don’t say that rhetorically, I mean it quite literally: not once, not ever. And that fact is particularly disturbing to the British sensibility – for us, to lack humour is almost inhuman. But with Trump, it’s a fact. He doesn’t even seem to understand what a joke is – his idea of a joke is a crass comment, an illiterate insult, a casual act of cruelty.

Trump is a troll. And like all trolls, he is never funny and he never laughs; he only crows or jeers. And scarily, he doesn’t just talk in crude, witless insults – he actually thinks in them. His mind is a simple bot-like algorithm of petty prejudices and knee-jerk nastiness.

There is never any under-layer of irony, complexity, nuance or depth. It’s all surface. Some Americans might see this as refreshingly upfront. Well, we don’t. We see it as having no inner world, no soul. And in Britain we traditionally side with David, not Goliath. All our heroes are plucky underdogs: Robin Hood, Dick Whittington, Oliver Twist. Trump is neither plucky, nor an underdog. He is the exact opposite of that. He’s not even a spoiled rich-boy, or a greedy fat-cat.

He’s more a fat white slug.

The Justice Department has abandoned its prosecution of President Donald Trump’s former national security adviser Michael Flynn, throwing in the towel on one of the most prominent cases brought by special counsel Robert Mueller.

Flynn pleaded guilty in 2017 to lying to the FBI about his dealings with the Russian ambassador to the U.S.!

White privilege.

Hopefully, the US Senate will turn blue and the Democrats will keep the house. That way if Trump cheats and gets re-elected, the Democrats will be certain to impeach him AGAIN and turn him over to the Attorney General in the Southern District of New York. The SDNY is waiting for him.

They can add accessory to Covid-19 mass murder and crimes against humanity to the money laundering, violation of RICO and FERRA Acts, securities fraud, several counts of perjury, obstruction of justice, sexual assault and tax evasion charges that awaits him. The Attorney General of the SDNY is the reasons he's fighting so hard to get re-elected. The complicit, compromised and cowardly Republican senate won't be able to help him, and Barr won't be able to rescue him either because he has no power over the SDNY.

It's coming, 'cause God's on the side of Good.

Only $293 billion of the $2 trillion Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Stability Act (CARES) went directly to individuals through no-strings-attached cash payments. (Congress has also spent about another $1 trillion in other pieces of legislation responding to the health crisis.) The vast majority of the money has been earmarked for businesses suffering from shutdowns.

The economic crisis resulting from the pandemic has only deepened, with the Labor Department set to announce Friday morning just how many millions of people lost their jobs last month.

So it would seem to make sense that another round of checks ― perhaps even multiple rounds of checks ― could help blunt the economic effects of the coronavirus, particularly when direct stimulus remains so popular. Polling has found about three-quarters of Americans in key battleground states support more government relief payments.

Republicans don't want to do it; Democrats do.

Democratic political consultant James Carville said President Donald Trump is getting fleeced by members of his own campaign who know he’s going to lose reelection but won’t tell him for one simple reason: they’re trying to make money off the campaign.

“It don’t matter if the Dow is 35,000, he’s not going to win,” Carville said on MSNBC on Wednesday. “He wasn’t going to win when unemployment was 3.5 percent, he’s certainly not going to win now.”

Carville dismissed Trump’s top campaign aides as a “pack of grifters.”

“His campaign manager’s got two condos, a Ferrari, a yacht, a Range Rover,” he said.

Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale and his companies collected $38.9 million from the president’s reelection committees between January 2017 and the end of March. Parscale has also amassed all of the properties and vehicles Carville described.

“They’re all just fleecing the campaign,” Carville said, adding that the aides were also lying to Trump about his chances to keep the gravy train rolling.

“It’s just about making money and they’re going in, they’re giving him fake polls,” he said. “This whole thing is just like a crumbling empire right before your eyes. Everybody is trying to take everything they can get on the way out and they’re trying to prop him up so they all can make money.”

Enough of the hate on our UNITED STATES PRESIDENT Trump. Trump has done more to make sure these corrupt criminal stay on their side of the DICTATORSHIP border. This article mentions this so called Mexican Mayor living and being a resident of both countries. He doesn't care or obey the laws of the land in United States, like despite PROHIBITION by the immigration law that someone with a visitor's visa CAN NOT OWN real estate on the U.S. Yet, this corrupt Mexican Mayor is breaking the laws of the land and has a $1.5 million dollar home in San Benito Texas. He not only owns a home he also has pure-blood horses some valued at $800,000 dollars . Why doesn't this so called Mayor invest in his own dictatorship county? The question should be who, why, is allowing this so called corruption being done in Texas? How much payment, and to whom is payment benefiting? Is this Mexican Mayor allowed to vote in our United States Elections with his visitor's visa? Is he using his so called ITIN visa?
