I hope this slows it down , but let's see if the South Padre Island will cooperate with the County and close their beaches as well. Keeping people off the beaches and away from the bars. Let them stay in their condos and maybe we will have a chance to slow this down.

Cops need to do the same thing stop everybody and ticket them. There's a lady that lives next door and comes in at 3:00am in the morning works at a bar and I am sure she is dead drunk and NOBODY STOPS HER. She drives on central blvd and that's every-MORNING!!!!! COPS DO YOUR JOB. STOP ALL THESE PEOPLE DRIVING ON CENTRAL BLVD AFTER 12 MIDNIGHT...THEY ARE ALL DRUNK....

The curfew will be in place for those 17 and under from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. For adults, the curfew hours will be imposed from 11 a.m. to 5 a.m.

You will be allowed to drive during those hours if you are headed to work, have an emergency or are returning from an out of town trip.

STOP DRUNKS DRIVING ON CENTRAL BLVD DO IT NOW DO IT TONIGHT!!!!

Business as usual at island. Plenty of bars and grills still open. Fireworks still scheduled for Tuesday , Thur and Friday. Party boats and charter boats running as usual. Technically, beach accesses are closed but you can still access county beaches by foot.
