ANOTHER CAMERON COUNTY BROTHER LEAVES US

(Ed.'s Note: Chalk up another Cameron County employee death to COVID-19. After first claiming that there were no positive no cases among the inmates and only a few in the staff, we now know that more than 500 prisoners have tested positive for the disease and that scores of sheriff department personnel have also contracted the virus. We feel for Detention Officer Edward Lee Cantu and feel sorry that all we can do is extend our condolences to his family. RIP.)

I heard he died of something else, but was added to the Virus infected list to make more dinero for the hospital. The Valley's hospitals should be called Area 51. No one is allowed in and the employees inside are sworn to secrecy not to mention what really goes on inside!
