Ed.'s Note: A mid-morning fire at a home near the intersection of Hackberry Street and Old Port Isabel Road gutted the second floor of a two-story building on Hackberry. Not even the proximity of Fire Station 6 on Old Port Isabel allowed the firefighters to contain the fast-moving flames that destroyed the top of the building. Other stations assisted Fire Station 6 firefighters on the blaze.)

Coronavirus Live Updates: 17 States Sue Trump Administration Over Rule That Could Revoke Visas for Foreign Students
Texas is not one of them the texas governor has his nose up his idol trumputo's ass....
What burning houses have to be a block away to be saved???? just askin' I know its hard work and very dangerous.... pobresitos I see them at HEB all the time.
Isnt it a 3 story?
The firefighters will never be able to contain any fire with them being dropped down to 2 firefighters to a truck. The fire chief is forcing us to go down to 2 firefighters to a truck instead of the mandatory 3. We are all being thrown to the wolves. Even an EMS supervisor from A shift just got up and left because he could not handle the deaths anymore. It really is very bad here and its getting worse. Our fire chief has not been seen in weeks. We just don't know what to do anymore. We Need Help!
Fire department and police must be a priority anywhere if the elected officials are deaf to pleas for help in these areas they MUST be replaced. Elections are aroung the corner the community will stand with ALL of you.
