If Trump had displayed the same single-mindedness towards defeating the Covid-19 virus as he had in attempting to disenfranchise voters he might possibly have been elected for a second term.
Director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, Christopher Krebs, issued the following statement:
“Over the last four years, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has been a part of a whole-of-nation effort to ensure American voters decide American elections. Importantly, after millions of Americans voted, we have no evidence any foreign adversary was capable of preventing Americans from voting or changing vote tallies."
Trump's attempt to sow doubt into Americans' perception of mail-in ballots failed because Director Krebs accurately interpreted that what Trump was trying to do was to cause the American public to distrust mail-in voting.
Accordingly, Krebs stepped up the record keeping in his agency and dotted every "i" and crossed every "t" in terms of providing a paper trail for verifying the accuracy and validity of every mailed in ballot. Trump has no evidence and thus no legal basis for claiming election fraud. This is the reason why all of his lawyers are leaving his case and why Trump is coming up empty-handed with no verdict in his favor.
There is no record of wide-spread voting fraud by mail in the Trump/Biden election. Furthermore, no election in the history of the United States has ever been invalidated or reversed due to voting fraud via mail-in ballots. The American people have voted and their choice is unequivocal. Trump's alternate reality will be be interrupted on January 20 when he vacates the White House.
