A NOT SO ITSY-BITSY SPIDER GUARDS CITY PARKING METER

(Ed.'s Note: One of our observant seven readers said he was about to put money in the parking meter downtown and as he was moving his hand toward the slot, jumped back when he saw the spider on the glass. Then he realized that the spider was inside the meter and that he was watching the bottom side of the arachnid facing the outside from inside the glass. How on God's green earth, he asked, did it manage to crawl inside the locked meter? Does anyone know?)

Anonymous said...: Those pinche meters are from 70's and some are so beat-up! There's money for miles of bike lanes, but not enough money for updated parking meters! I say remove those meters so people can come shop downtown without worrying about getting a parking citations!; January 9, 2021 at 12:05 PM
