In the past, when Gracia's team heard that the Gamez crew was going to hold an event, they would rush over, block the street with a trailer and try to block their access to the voters and the polling place. (See graphic below)
It happened again today, but this time, the trap was laid to stymie the Gracia minions intent on disrupting Team Gamez's voting-access efforts.
A social media message sent out by Erin Gamez supporters indicating that they would hold a voting event at a lot they had rented next to Gracia's tent in front of the Cameron Park Multi-Service Community Center.
Upon seeing the message, Gracia's guys removed their food
truck from the Main Library polling place and rushed to place the trailer in the drive to block the Gamez crew. The trailer was placed directly in front of the property and between them and the center.
But little did they realize it was just a bait-and-switch because instead of running over to Cameron Park, the Gamez team held their event in the corner lot behind Veterans Park (and Main LIbrary voting site) complete with mariachis and the candidate handing out plates and greeting voters personally.
And at Cameron Park, the Gracia food truck stood empty and the campaign workers wondered why they had been moved there when the big crowds were at the Main Library where they had been campaigning earlier.

I Don't know or have never crossed 2 words with Mr. Gracia. I did have the opportunity to meet and talk with Erin Gamez. She is a young and well educated lady. I did vote for her in the primary and really hope she is the winner. She will do a much better job.
