In the current school shooting climate, it may not matter that the car and gun belonged to the kid's dad. He had possession of both, and the gun was certainly verboten in school. There has to be more to this story.

Didn't we just saw that here recently and by a racist republican meskin?
Did anyone see the pic of the six Santa Rosa ISD Seniors all dressed up in suits and holding semi-automatic weapons just prior to their graduating? The pic was posted by a proud mother of one of the seniors. The problem is not the weapons but parents like these of those seniors proving there is no discipline, respect or manners along with no love of God in the homes. Stricter gun laws might make a difference BUT will not keep them out of the hands of the ones who will commit evil and definitely not out of the hands of criminals.
If the gun and car belonged to the student's father, why did he allow his
son to take the car to school with a weapon readily available. One sees the
storm and we don't kneel! What a shame that adults contribute to the whims of the child or do not give a d--- what they do. It is a good thing that the son did not carry the gun into the campus and how did the police get inside the car to check the glove compartment? Do they have master keys? Thank God classes are over today and the kids will get to sleep until noon and play with their phone the rest of the day. Maybe this will keep the guns away from them and school campuses, but then, there is always other places where they can decide to have a shooting spree. People are afraid to go anywhere now for fear of being caught between some idiots gunfire. Parents need to get their act together and make sure they know what their kids are doing.
