So why had Rolando Olvera recused himself from this case? He recused himself from the Sylvia Atkinson case as well. I understand the possible reasons for recusals but really??? How many of these crooks does he know that he keeps company with?

The reason Olvera recused himself is because he's ethical and it's the right thing to do when you are a judge is his position; in fact, that's what the pendeja judge should've done in the Trumpty Dumpty case, instead of assigning a Special Master....
