If you had your way we would live in caves. Maybe it is your age, but to get to the moon NASA had many explosions, and astronauts died on the launch pad. Madame Curie died from HER work in radium, which is one of the most significant discoveries in science. Space Shuttle Columbia burned up on reentry. I was in my home in Dallas when the sonic boom hit, I thought another 40' tree came down on the house. Science has sacrifices. BUT FOR THE RECORD, I WANT SPACEX GONE. I also believe the government really needs to invest more in exploring our oceans. Several months ago a sinkhole surrounded by coral off Belize was finally penetrated. They had to make a special submarine to penetrate an area of some form of acid. It is the largest known sinkhole in the ocean. It was sad when they got to the bottom. It was covered in plastic bottles. Some scientists are claiming there may be an ancient ocean below the ocean floor. We need to view the ocean with the same excitement as space.

People need to realize that SpaceX is here to test-fire rockets that someday will take astronauts to the moon and beyond but, actual space launches with astronauts on board will always be out of Florida or elsewhere. Not here, we're only the Guinea pigs, unfortunately.
