Thank you police department for keeping Brownsville safe.
I met a lady that told me that a guy that washes cars downtown, stole an item from her car and she saw the item inside the pail of water that they use to wash the cars. The pail was empty.
Every time, I go downtown I remember this story.
Also, the lady whose purse was snatched but she ran after the criminal and the police was able to catch the guy.
We have to be careful of our surroundings, strangers etc but still visit downtown.

Stop getting car washes and giving money to these bucket car wash losers and they will disappear from downtown. These losers lie that they want the money for food or their family, but what they do is wash one or two cars to make enough to go get their fix, and return whenever they want for the next fix.
Offer them a real job and they don't want it, because they don't want responsibility and love the freedom of not being a trapped slave at a real eight hour, or 8 to 5 job.
If they really wanted help their is a lot of organizations out there to help them and their families, but no they want real money for their drugs. Stop fueling the problem and ignore these losers and they will leave.

Brownsville needs a citizen police board. . .They shouldn't limit people from writing a dissenting point of view on a suspect or their policies on facebook. Also, with a citizen board they can release police body cam footage that can be disseminated to the public. The police department shouldn't dictate what can be viewed or not.
