Another idea is to fix the streets and drainage issues. We have enough dumb restaurants who can't serve a decent Mexican plate. Citizens of Brownsville need to travel to McAllen to find a decent restaurant. It's all about class, something the citizens of Brownsville don't have. Pura mierder!

I went by the old Capitol Teather the other day and wonder why the city is
paying for paint for people to deface walls all over town and not use the paint to fix up the deplorable condition the builds in front of the El Jardin Hotel are. Then I look at the old El Jardin and wonder why they are thinking of using it as a "hotel-project" for displaced people from the project at Lincoln and International. It is a mess!
While I'm on it, why does BISD not sell the old Resaca Elem School and the Victoria Heights Elem. Maybe they could be turned into efficiency apartments
for people who can not afford those in the Hudson area. We have our wires crossee and that is why Brownsville looks like a third world country.
Oh, but down town Adams and Washington are getting a chunk of money for repairs to modernize the old cantinas that were there. Levee Street is also
repaved and so are the street in Los Ebanos subdivision. Why, because Harry MaNair lives there? Just drive down those streets and let your eyes burn.

Diners are a big part of Americana, and Americana is something Brownsville does not appreciate. Brownsville is too Mexican. A hundred taquerias will open, before any diner ever does.
