(Ed.'s Note: One of our eight readers and his better half decided to get a burger at historic Palm Lounge today and, as usual, they had a hard time finding a parking spot. After circling the block twice they saw that the gray truck right in front of the restaurant at the Wells Fargo bank was parked in the middle of two spaces. They waited for a while until a space cleared in front of the Palm and once parked decided to wait to see if the driver appeared.
After another 10 minutes a man in a cap emerged from the bank, drove in a diaginal direction to get into the left lane of Elizabeth and peeled off to add insult to injury. Maybe things didn’t go well for him inside the bank. Looks like this year's competition for our 2023 champ will be stiff. Yessir, we got us some winners here.)
