Voter fatigue, apathy and distrust are being blamed for the voters staying away from the polls in droves. There is usually a spurt of voters on the last day of early voting – Tuesday – and we hope that it's the case in this election and would bring the eight-day early voting total to somewhere around 4,000 votes.
If the usual formula holds that early voting is about 65 percent of the total vote, the total cast in this election may be somewhere near 6,100. If you haven't gone to vote, please take the time in the remaining early voting or on election day Saturday, June 17.)

It is time for Americans to feel the power of a dictatorship.
The people from Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Spain, Portugal etc know how a dictator controls a nation. It changes their way of thinking forever.
It is very sad to meet the new generation and see how their parents, grandparents continued to be dominated by the fear of a dictator.
Trump should control Americans. That way Americans will understand history.

People that do not vote are busy with their lives. They go to work, they help their families etc
Free time is to get ready to go back to work.
Voting is not that important to them. The City of Brownsville should educate its citizens to go and vote.
Maybe in the future, you can vote via internet, in person, by mail, by phone, at the workplace etc
