DE SANTIS' STATE TROOPERS ARE HERE. DO YOU FEEL SAFER?

Special to El Rrun-Rrun

Florida sent 200 officers from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, more than 100 Florida Highway Patrol troopers, and as many as 800 members of the Florida National Guard. On Wednesday, Florida state trooper vehicles had been spotted in Brownsville.

According to a press release issued by Gov. Ronald DeSantis, Florida will also make available fixed-wing aircraft, unmanned drones and other vehicles.

The planned deployment is a larger commitment than similar assistance Florida has provided to Texas before when in 2021. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey sent a joint letter to other state governors requesting assistance to secure the border.

I feel safer! If sleepy Joe Biden, won't do it well then thank you Abbott, and De Santis. More Super Troopers!

Hope they are better than the Texas "Super Troopers" that stood around while children were being shot only yards from where they were standing.

If it means more Texas state troopers doing their jobs and keeping drunk drivers like you off the road, yes. We do feel safer.

It was Abbott who essentially shut down the border in Brownsville. Border Patrol was just waving people through.
