What a joke, how many dead bodies are thrown into our drinking water from the Mexican side of the river? I hope you love the taste of rotting dead bodies in your drinking water. How about all the toxic chemicals and garbage thrown by the Mexican cities. Stop your democrats crying for the poor illegals breaking the laws in both the U.S and Mexican countries. Our idiot president Joe blow Biden is not, repeat, not protecting the U.S. border.
This is a very difficult situation.
I live close to the river and I have nightmares that the "bad guys" can take my property hostage. They cross 10-15 individuals (males and females) in the early morning and they have phones to call their contacts here in the USA.
It is very scary.
I know they want to work and have a good heart but....
When the Border Patrol shows up....they are all gone. You can only hear the barking dogs "chismeando" about the movement of these individuals. The Border Patrol is doing their job but they are on their own. Sometimes we see the agents, one agent ALONE, walking through the woods where the illegals are hiding.
A tragedy is going to happen...it is not going to be pretty.
The "bad guys" jump my fence and escape from the Border Patrol.
They run into the street around 4:00 am....trying to find their contacts to escape and move out of Brownsville.
Americans are helping the illegal aliens escape the Border Patrol and move them up North.... this situation will never end.
Meanwhile, the Border Patrol is using helicopters to find them.
If you live in the North part of Brownsville, you might not be aware of this situation: Border Patrol by air, by land, on foot....trying to detain these individuals that are like us: poor and "raza"
If the Biden Administration would enforce the law, this wouldn't be a critical issue..Stop encouraging people to illegaly enter the USA, by offering free phones, food, shelter..
I personally detest Gov Abbott and am against practically everything he says/does. That being said, i must say that in my opinion the immigration system is broken and has been broken for decades. We’ve had Democrats/Republicans in the white house and NO ONE has been able to figure it out and fix it. This is the way i see it( my view/opinion) every country on this planet has immigration laws and they ALL should be enforced/followed. That being said, why does everyone in the world think that no immigration laws exist in the USA and that they can just pack up and head this way and be received with open arms ( when they have no papers/documentation: in other words illegal). That to me doesn’t seem right/fair. Our great nation was founded more than 250 yrs ago and yes it is great because of the diversity of people’s that immigrated to our country. But A LOT has changed since then , and the world is no longer the same as it was back then. It is now so complex in so many ways. That being said i don’t believe our country can sustain that famous saying: “ give us your tired and your weary …”. Not anymore , Times change and everything has to change accordingly. LEGAL IMMIGRATION can be controlled but we can no longer sustain the open/ free border mentality or ideology. Its a difficult subject to debate without sounding inhumane but desperate times require desperate measures. Many different methods are being tried to deter ilegal entry, but to me, for the moment the best thing to do is ( like the old days) you get caught with no papers,you get deported immediately. Next day if possible. Its doesn’t matter who, individuals/ families. Once the word spreads that this is happening WITH NO EXCEPTIONS they may think twice about making the dangerous journey to our borders. Wish I could continue, but my comment is getting bit long. My intention was not to offend anyone its just my opinion on tough subject.
I am not an Abbott fan but I agree that something needs to be done about these people that are coming here illegally. Bussing them is not the answer.

Remember what happened to all the natives here and all over this country when the gringos got here? They didn't use helicopters they used guns and just took over all the lands. Same here in south texas but here los rinches hanged the land owners that were tejanos. REMEMBER???
