(Ed.'s Note: 138th District Judge Gabby Garcia and her staff were some of the first customers to partake of the new Roast House Cafe located in the same place that the Amadeo Rodriguez family operated the courthouse eatery inside the Cameron County Courthouse judicial and administrative wing located at 974 E. Harrison Street in Brownsville.
The menu – under review and subject to change – features salads, bagels, and sandwiches with a health-conscious emphasis while they tailor it to the taste of the customers at the courthouse. Now instead of bringing a bag lunch or leaving the building to run downtown to grab a bite, courthouse employers and people having business in the courts can simply walk over to the cafe and chow. We wish this new enterprise the best of luck.)

More or less this is how big fortunes are made. In a couple of years, all this will be forgotten but the fortune will still be there with a good story of working hard and helping the community.
