and straight through the Bastrop gate,

The traffic makes us go extremely slow,

And it's getting hard to wait!

Over the farm roads, Austin and through —

When Sister and all  see us come,

She will turn around and tell one and all,

Tamales for young and old."

Over New Braunfels, San Wilmas and through—

now Maria's crib I can spy!
