DETAILS OF CASE INVOLVING 4 ST. JOE'S GRADS QUESTION CHARGES

Photos of (L-R) Santiago Vidaurri, Marcelo Masso, Pedro Cardenas, and Francisco La Garza

(Ed.s' Note: As details emerge of the arrest and charges of burglary and assault filed against four St. Joseph Academy graduates against a fellow Texas A&M University student at College Station, their alibis are u
nder closer scrutiny. An alibi from an investigator working for the families of the four men – all from Brownsville – said one of them was in Dallas with his parents December 30 turned out to be incorrect. After we double checked, he said he meant November 30  [Dallas vs. Seattle]. That would exonerate Marcelo Masso, but still wouldn't cover the other three. The parents of the others say it was a racist case of mistaken identity and will prove it presently.

They were arrested and charged by the College Station police January 23, 2024, almost two months after the men are alleged to have committed the crimes. News reports also indicate that they were also suspects in a criminal trespass of a habitation at the same Standard Apartments approximately one week before this latest alleged assault occurred.

We'll follow and report developments of this case as they evolve.  All four are St. Joe Academy graduates, including Pedro Cardenas Jr., son of COB commissioner Pedro Cardenas and Santiago Vidaurri, brother of Juan Pablo Vidaurri, who was injured in an accident which killed another St. Joseph grad last August.)

Four College Station men were arrested Tuesday, January 23, for allegedly assaulting a man in his apartment in December, according to the College Station Police Department.

Pedro Cardenas, 20; Francisco De La Garza, 18; Santiago Vidaurri, 19; and Marcelo Alfonso Masso, 20, were all arrested Tuesday on warrants of burglary of a habitation with the intent to commit assault, according to police. All four men are also students at Texas A&M University, according to the university directory.

At 3:55 a.m. Dec. 2, 2023, police responded to the Standard Apartment Complex to a report that a man had been assaulted by a group of men, according to police. The victim told police that he was returning home to his apartment when he saw a group of five intoxicated males and two females banging on doors along the hallway.

The group allegedly walked toward the victim’s door and the victim told the group not to hit it, according to police testimony. The victim told officers that the group of males then surrounded him and began assaulting him by hitting him in the face and pushing him into his apartment.

According to the victim, the group of men allegedly continued assaulting him inside his apartment for several minutes. The group of men then ran out of his apartment and down the hall.

The assault was caught on security cameras and Texas A&M University Police were able to identify Cardenas, De La Garza, Vidaurri and Masso from the footage, according to police. Another male was identified but was not believed to have taken part in the assault.

According to police, all four men had been suspects in a criminal trespass of a habitation at the Standard Apartments approximately one week before the alleged assault occurred.

At the time of publication, Cardenas, De La Garza, Vidaurri and Masso have been charged with burglary of a habitation according to Brazos County jail records. Burglary of a habitation is a second-degree felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison and a maximum fine of $10,000.

All three suspects were released on $8,000 bonds individually Wednesday.

To all you idiotas y cocos once you leave the valley you become a beaner (frijolero) you can not escape that. The gringos hate meskins learn it now and they all call you beaners.

In the valley if your family has la feria you can act like a gringo and look down at everybody else. Out of the valley you can't, even the color folks look down at beaners.

The texas the wheels governor passed a law that any local cop can arrest an illegal. Keep that in mind and think!!! A gringo local cop (anywhere in texas) will see all you meskins as illegals and now has the authority to arrest your ass and take you to jail, legal harassment and approved by YOUR on wheels governor.

So next time (coming soon) when you see YOUR wheels governor during a charro days parade stand up and applaud him and sent him kisses and yell "GOOG JOB". MAMONES

Police Arrest Several Texas Dairy Queen Employees for Selling Meth in ‘Operation Blizzard’

Da Queen is looking for a few good dealers to sell burgers, any takers??

Cops made an honest mistake? Or did they knowingly arrest them knowing it was not them? Where was the investigation before? How did one get arrested if he was not even in town? Police are up to something fishy.

Anonymous said...

People from Brownsville just plain suck! Not 1 honest person there. And the whole city sucking on the government tit.

Its all on video!!

Common denominator. Money can't buy you everything.

i like they way some of you morons turn this into a racist issues, bottom line is they broke the law and now they must pay, it doesn't matted what school you went to mommy and Daddy can protect you forever

You people blow my mind. There is no backtracking here. This is the story. All Juan did was post the parents' claim the police messed up. You actually believe people would no lie for their kids? All 4 have to be misidentified based on the video. That is a big mistake. They took about a month before they were charged. To me it sounds like they did not rush things.

But as always, innocent until proven guilty.

Also I know a young woman from Brownsville about to graduate Texas A & M in May. She is already accepted to medical school. She is very dark skinned and claims to never have has a problem at A & M.

These guys were just having fun like the democrats of the RGV when the democrats Rats take everything for themselves and leave the rest for their friends and family and nothing for the taxpayers. Maybe Eddie Trevino will come to the rescue for these rats of Brownsville using Tanaska money and using a defense of: they were just stupid idiots of RGV? The judge will them Not Guilty on those merits: IDIOTS.

These kids are innocent. Except for the pedro kid, he’s suspicious. He was arrested for the same crime recently. These kids may have been targeted for his recent doings.

Who else is sick of the entitlement that comes from the St. Joe crowd? They think money can get them out of whatever trouble they get into and then mommy and daddy just pay their way out of everything. As a city, we should denounce this behavior and hold them all accountable for how awful they make our city. And it starts with voting them all out of public office.

Straight up arrogance , look at the pic of the first two. Fucking smugness at its best. These guys are looking like they’re entitled to their behavior. 5 guys and 2 females, where are the pics of the others.

It is easy to speak badly about someone on a blog and come up with conclusions, But what is sad here is these comments are hateful and have no merit, I know all these young men, and can say that they are polite, educated , gentlemen, Anyone would be proud to call them a son, brother or friend, so let’s be mindful with our comments and give these young men the benefit of the doubt, These are great young men..

So are borrachos, every single one is polite, educated, gentlemanly and love alcohol and drugs. Very nice people... when sober, and the ones with connections and financial security are the worst, and all are great young and old.

I know what I have at home, outside of home....I do not know.

The fact is: they were in a group, with girls, messing around....those guys you do not know them. You have to party with them to know them.

They are identified as 19 year old Santiago Vidaurri, 20 year old Marcelo Masso, 20 year old Pedro Cardenas, and 18 year old Francisco LaGarza.

This happened at 3:00 am in the morning.

These students come from very important families in the region

Vidaurri, governor of Nuevo Leon and Coahuila
Masso: from Palestine but established their roots here since 1800's.
Cardenas, from Don Jorge Cardenas
De la Garza, from the 1500's

Very good families that are working to maintain their standing in the community. These kids can not destroy a dynasty.
But also, the dynasty has to protect them and fight the Police, the University and their kids themselves to keep going.

I hope the victim of this beating gets to read this.

Run to the bank with this beating. Get a good deal: get enough to buy a home. Then deny these were the people that attacked you. But until the money is in your bank account. If you do not do this, then you will be a victim that will end up being just a beaten guy.

The two girls running around at 3:00 am with these guys. Profit from this situation too. Change your hair style, change the way you dress and get a marriage proposal from one of these 4 guys. Support your man.

if not you will just end up being a doctor, lawyer, veterinarian that used to run at 3:00 am with these guys that ended marrying another girl. Be smart girls, get everything from this situation. Always deny this. Say you were sleeping at your dorm/apartment. Getting ready for the new Semester.
Get the ring. Get into the family you always wanted to belong.

The root of the problem are the parents. These kids parents are all friends that get together and party with there kids with drugs and alcohol. They get drunk together until they are hurling. They are degenerates. Cardenas has serious money problems and he peddles his wife to play off his debts. The St. Joe club knows this people and don’t think highly of them and unfortunately that type of behavior can spread like cancer and this incident is a prime example. You can see this cancerous effect on our city government and even in the associations that receive hundreds of thousands of dollars a year where St Joe leeches have become decision makers. These people are not good citizens and they should not be trusted with the decision making in our community. We need to weed them out and regain our identity because Brownsville people are not even aware of the unscrupulous nature of the people they voted into power.

Family dynasty !

Who the fuck wrote that !! Puro pendejo !!

These people don’t deserve any special treatment!!

That’s the problem with Brownsville pendejos that are easily impressed by anyone that has just a little bit more than them!!

That’s shallow and insecure. Los jodidos siempre se ven como jodidos and they let these mamones off the hook or give them special treatment.

You know que es puro pedo whenever I see someone posting something to defend a wrongful action from a st joe graduate.

Es gente ojete , no valen madres

Why don’t you ask for the videos Mr Montoya, if they say they are identified thru video it should be an easy open close case. They say it’s mistaken identity yet they say they identified them thru video yet you say one will be off the hook because he was at a football game. So was he or was he not in the video. Very interesting

Yes, the citizens of Cameron County should be angry for the favoritism, these criminals are shown by the law enforcements and the judicial system. You did the crime you do the time. This is my opinion. Is 445th district judge Gloria Rincones presiding over this case? This judge kisses ass to deep pocket money hungry Wana bees.

People in this forsaken town of Brownsville hate us just because we graduated from St.Joseph Academy. I think that you don’t like the fact that you and your family were not smart enough to get accepted. Yes, we are privileged but we work hard for everything we have and also graduated from excellent universities while you had to go to TSC. Accept the fact that we are part of the ruling class so just move on to something else. There are worse things and more corruption at BISD! Dropped the mike.

On the other article someone considered these thugs "young boys." At 18, 19, and 20 they are no longer young boys. A young boy is a child from 7 to 10. These young adults already have hair on their scrotum. Not only are they young adults they are socially maladjusted. They are socially maladjusted because this is the behavior they have seen from their family members. They leave Brownsville and do not know how to behave out in society...so much for going to St. Joe.

A "Mejicle" is a gaudy Mexican who feels that they can push people around. I personally have been at Walmart, around Lent, and had a Mexican female try to push me out of the check out line with the cart she was using. By pushing their way into someone else's apartment and beating on them these thugs displayed Mejicle behavior. I don't think that what is being expressed against these thugs is hatred it is more like frustration. There are Mexicans and then there are Mejicles.

Who did they confuse them with? Did they confuse them with a dark haired gringos? I would be so disappointed if my child were going to St. Joseph and they did not learn how to behave like up standing citizens.

I am from the barrio and if that were my son before he left home I would have told him "cuando estes haya te portas bien o te chingo la madre." My son would have clearly known what is expected of him.

Esta es gente que se cre prepotente pero nomas son unos dejenrados. Better them than us.

Looks like the parents of these young men will be spending a lot of money so that they don't drop the soap. Fuck the mic. "Ruling class of a God forsaken town" how impressive 👏 😆

En St. Joe no les quitan lo pendejo.

En Veterans estan los St. Joseph rejects.

However, the point is that no matter who you are or where you come from you should know how to behave. It is surprising that at their age they were not taught how to hold their liquor.

All you guys bitching about the elite are the same who bitch about law enforcement, law and order, rule of law. Which is it? Rule of law or anyone can do whatever they want. Our kids are learning that there is no real consequence for breaking the law. It’s the cops fault huh? The mean Border patrol.
We’re heading to rock bottom. Nice job democrats

what's good for the goose is good for the... "AL BOTE!".

You are pendejo if you think that only the former students from St. Joseph are the elite and hard workers. Take a good deep breath and smell the stench caused by most of these graduates of St. Joseph. The history speaks for itself. These spoiled men broke the law, and they should be held liable for the crime committed. Mommies and Daddies should stay away.

Political parties have nothing to do with this. What you state is like saying "nice job protestants." When religion has nothing whatsoever to do with this.

This has to do with ethics, social, and civilizedbehavior. With what is right and wrong or what is good or bad.

Feb 4 3:48 Lol you must be a victim of the BISD system. You can’t spell or can properly formulate a sentence in English.

Families with your arrogance and self entitlement is what gives St.Joe a bad name. I know some good families and students from St. Joe that don't act this way. All schools have a little bit of everything and yes your school has does have a bit of everything. Your clothes and riches cannot hide your true behavior. Your showing off your riches and arrogance is probably more related to someone who suffers from a superiority complex. Will you continue to pass this complex to your children or is this a normal generational behavior that is inbred in you? Peace

Anonymous said...

Please! Why is it only news when SJA students are involved? BISD students are arrested daily.

Anonymous said...

That's why some of us call St. Joseph's Academy a reformatory for monied children.

The last two boys on the pic look pretty similar. I do not doubt this could be a mistaken identity case. Maybe.
