BECAUSE HE IS GIVEN MORE THAN $1 MILLION BUDGET TO DO THE JOB. THE NUMBERS DON'T LIE. HE HAS FAILED MISERABLY.

If you will notice, both budgets provided to Sheriff Eric Garza for 2024 have actually increased between 2022 to 2024. Yet, the number of stolen vehicles has increased by more than 60 percent during that time. In contrast, during former Sheriff Omar Lucio's administration, 15 full-time deputies performed bridge security and were required to stay there for the duration of their full shifts and weren't pulled for public presentations to reelect the boss.

Eric is too busy trying to get re-elected and how is "Double Dipper " Sauceda addressing this problem?... Your appointed boards are freely dishing out Grants to their friends and family trying to upgrade their businesses with other peoples money, while dealerships will be hurting on sales on the "popular item" on the thief's favorite car menu.

County voters also have an opportunity when they vote in the sheriff's runoff election between Garza and challenger Manuel "Manny" Treviño this May.
