WENT TO THE MALL AND THERE I SAW ABOUT 12 DRESSED IN BLACK SHERIFF DEPUTIES AND THEY WERE THERE AT LEAST 2-1/2 HOURS DRINKING COFFEE. THIS IS FACT.

It's about an observation being made that may indicate that these deputies are not doing their jobs and fulfilling their duty to SERVE AND PROTECT!! Have you ever heard of the saying: " while the cat's away the mouse is at play" Well, like it or not, PERCEPTION is not helpful and sometimes even outright damning. And in this case , it appears as if the deputies are doing as they please and no one to tell them otherwise. Sure smells like a lack of leadership. So this situation is not about liking or disliking anyone, it's about the appearance/perception to the public of a department's staff running amok!! Unfortunately, just another example of Sheriff Fifes incompetence and not having a grasp of his duties as sheriff. When will this end?????

One of the reasons police officers go to coffee shops, restaurants, hospitals etc is to get the secret information from the public. People see everything but sometimes they do not call the police 911.
They do talk to the officers at the gasoline station, at the grocery store at the hood, etc People do not file police reports, they gossip.
Only in the movies do people meet at 3:00 AM behind the alley and speak to the police and the detectives.
We are instructed not to give out citations and to try not to arrest anyone because of elections. Eric wants to try to look good for the community even if it means giving people stay out of jail card. Bring a Sheriff means doing what’s right even if it upsets people, it’s called having consequences if you break the law.
