We’ve got the Trump cultists yelling “entitlement” while conveniently ignoring that their golden idol literally bragged about grabbing whatever he wanted. We’ve got personal mama jokes (which is adorable in a 5th-grade cafeteria way), random objectification of someone’s wife (stay classy, Rancho Viejo), and the usual racial slurs tossed in by people who think the Civil War ended yesterday.
Meanwhile, the big picture is right there in that image: Trump, hand out, taking liberties with Lady Liberty herself. That’s not “entitlement,” that’s a whole political worldview — the idea that power gives you permission to cross every line. You either see it or you don’t, but some of y’all are too busy polishing boots and screaming “wah wah” to notice the Statue of Liberty’s filing a restraining order.

Some people are economically deprived. To negate that is nonsense. There are also different types of rich. For instance, some people have economic wealth while others are rich in faith or love. Princess Diana had wealth but she didn't have love.

I once met a man who's parents were doctors. He grew up rich. He started talking about how he read to learn about poor people. I started reading what he was reading and some of it was funny. However, within that reading was the belief and behavior of the wealthy. The person that wrote the book was wealthy. The educated wealthy study how the poor behave. It's like the Crocodile Hunter but instead of studying animals they study poor people and make assumptions. This is a true story.
