One of the most notable intriguers of the Hernandez camp was none other than politiquero Ralph Elizondo, who along with son-in-law and fellow traveler Joey Garza were the dirty tricks perpetrators for Erin, Norman, Ernie and their group. We remember when Elizondo staged a confrontation with then-Yolanda Begum poll watcher and now-candidate for District 4 Letty Perez-Garzoria. At the time Elizondo was inserted into the elections office polling place to harass her. Sure enough, a shoving match ensued and Elizondo succeeded in getting himself and Perez-Garzoria kicked out of the polling place, the intention of the Hernandez bunch all along because the pesky Perez-Garzoria was interfering with their vote-harvesting operation. Well, in the interest of fairness (can you believe that?) then-Elections Administrator Roger Ortiz threw them both out. Now we have been told that Elizondo actually confessed that that was the plan all along.So here you have a confession on how a known politiquero hired by the Hernandez was sent to disrupt the election process by admitting that his sole purpose was to make a confrontation between Letty Perez-Garzoria and himself.
As we said before, he is the father of Cori Elizondo, girlfriend (wife) of Joey Garza. His purpose was not to make sure elections ran smoothly but get Letty kicked out to open the door to not have Yolanda Begum a fair representation.
Elizondo tells all in his post commenting on his encounter with Perez-Garzoria and states his support for District 4 incumbent John Villarreal. The fact that this politiquero for hire would ridicule a candidate for public offie and call her a Looney Toon (sic) speaks to the arrogance of these purveyors of voter abuse. They think themselves above the law because of their association with Hernandez and the new Justice of the Peace (his daughter Erin).Then on top of that you have a police officer Dee Garcia (female) that is not only best friends with commissioner Jessica Tetrau-Kalifa, but also friends with the Hernandezes posting that they WILL get him elected. Just because she said she can't elaborate on the times she has interacted with the challenger, it is abundantly clear that she now has favoritism against Letty if the police officers are called again.
Villarreal has sought to distance himself from these characters before, with limited success. There is something unsavory about police officers and politiqueros joining forces. Not only because is it not a good combination, but also because the Hernandez machine actors now believe that they now have a free hand to continue perfecting the art of deception of the elderly and impaired to harvest votes.
