NEITHER HEAT, NOR THE CODIV-19 STOPS B.V. EASTER BUNNY

(Ed.'sNote: We thought it was still early before Easter Sunday when this Easter Bunny was spotted going  door to door fully decked in Personal Protective Equipment at the Brownsville Housing Authority's Buena Vida Housing Project delivering baskets (buckets) of goodies to the children there.

We are told that the intrepid cottontail was none other than BHA's Hilda Ledezma who said that the BHA and United Way collaborated to make the baskets available to the young 'uns. There were the usual candy eggs and trinkets, but also reading material to while away the days that they are not in school.

With temperatures in the mid-80s and mid-90s, we don't envy her labors, but we're sure it delivered a few smiles in the hood. We thank one of our seven Brownsville readers for this nice photo.)

The Republicans don’t want good for all. They are all about corruption, chaos, suffering, hurt, pollution, lawlessness, racism, giving to the rich while we the little people if we are lucky get the scraps. We need to unite more than any other time in our recent history. We must stretch out our hands and embrace each other together - that is the only way we turn things around and get rid of the Republican cesspool for good!

That is obviously the PUTZ in his new gig as the Easter Bunny. He has to make money somehow for his boxed wine. How are things at the old folks home Eduardo Paz Martinez, why don’t you humor us with another one of your national news comments. Pathetic.

New York City needs more space — additional field hospitals, rooms for medical workers, shelters for the homeless. But Trump’s flagship property remains open and isn’t among the 20-plus hotels that have offered up empty rooms.

It’s a situation playing out across the country. In the seven American cities with Trump luxury hotels, no local officials said the Trump properties were in discussions to house overflow patients or medical personnel.

In three cities — New York, Chicago and Washington, D.C. — the president’s properties are still open, even though they have few guests, according to hotel, union and city officials and industry representatives. In four other cities — Las Vegas, Miami, Honolulu and Charlottesville, Va. — Trump’s properties are closed.
