I thought that with his knowledge and wisdom at his age he would know better. He has allowed the Criminal Slate to use him. The picture is a truly speaks a million words. The only one that jumps out is "FOOL". I respected this man for many years as he is my grandfathers age. What choices did the taxpayers of Brownsville have? Only one good candidate, all the rest are RATAS. This blind candidates are just replacing the the current blind trustees. But fault lies with the teachers because these so called educated people are only thinking about their next pay rise. Teachers are not teaching anymore. These women principals are a joke. There is so much jealousy going in campuses where women are in charge. Out of control campuses where drugs are king and education does not exist. Time that BISD close its doors and let the ideal schools take over. The few good teachers are been attacked within the school they work. The BISD school board have no idea what is going on until they have a grievance hearing ? The school board protect their families first, even if the principal is doing wrong. There are so many things going wrong at every level, that our school system has taken a step backwards in education.

Is this what Brownsville has come to? Candidates that think they can make a change and making promises? Remember these candidates are people that have had issues with the law? Either on probation, Felony Charges ranging from Harassment to theft, you have one that can't pay child support (Deadbeat Dad), these bunch of idiot candidates are barking up a storm. Why? Why are they attacking their opponents that are trying to run a clean campaign. Why are these so called candidates going to the greatest extremes for a NON-PAYING position. Ask yourself this? If Erasmo is the man of God as he claims he is? Why does he badmouth everyone? Where are the morals, lead by example? He is a pedophile he like little boys. Lets move on to Frankie, the guy has a mother that is the biggest and ugliest bitch around town. She doesn't respect herself; why should Frankie respect any other woman. Obviously his his own mom do just about anyone or anything. Carlos Elizondo, really taking money from your own "Brothers" that you so called had their backs. You steal from everyone and anyone. How do these so called "Men", "Leaders", want to become BISD board members to help me. I can't think of one damn good reason.
I can only pray that people wake up and see the true identity of these cowards and vote for people that want to truly make some difference.

You are absolutely right about these "women in power", they abuse that power to protect their clicks and operate a la "gangsta style" pay to play, I wonder how much money they get from getting all the good jobs to their "friends", there's gotta be a catch to this abuse and is not only friendship, cash is involved, money talks $$$. The fact that teachers don't teach anymore is because they are all appointees by the magical committee where the most qualified ones are left without the opportunity to teach. Puras girlfriends and comadres. We always hear that TEA should take over, but when? it seems they are the same way. Enough of these bitches, replace them all, they are useless.
@5:39pm yep, pure lazy entitled employees. Custodians and several Employees at the CAB Main Building are running scared. The AA B. Pena relative is claiming she is funding Erasmo Castro for some huge favors and firing some custodians she does not like. Also, this lady goes around telling everyone she is related to Minerva Pena and once the new board comes in, this lady will be an AA like Rose Longoria. Rose Longoria was a Principal. This lady has just been all over the district because of B. Pena and does not want to work. This needs to stop! Please do not vote for Erasmo. Us Custodians need our jobs.
I can personally say that I am so glad that I retired from the district some time back, when we were proud to claim being a BISD teacher. It was fun going to work and some of us even forgetting to pick up our checks on the 25th when they were delivered on campus. It was a joy to come to work every day and go home with a smile knowing you had done your best and your students had left the classroom with a smile and more knowledge. There was pride, school spirit and togetherness and we respected our job. Although we still have a few of those teachers around, I can not tolerate those individuals who constantly complain about everything. If they don't like it, why don't they quit? When I left, I was an active participant in school activities and district committees because I wanted the best for my students, but we certainly did not have to worry about crooks on our school board. Now we actually get 1st hand knowledge of the reason why so many run for office and spend so much money campaigning for a job without pay. That, in itself, does not smell good. I beg those new candidates coming in to think about this and prove to your constituents that there is still hope in BISD with the actions you will take while sitting on the board. Don't let others sway your thoughts and way of voting and don't get involved in things that will come to haunt you later. Good luck to Lopez-Valdez, Gonzales, Garza and Leal and Garcia. Others can go look for another avenue to attack.

On Erasmos and Frankie they said anyone that pays more than $5,000 to run a campaign for a non paying position isn't right. So why are they spending $7000 or $10,000 as their 1st campaign Financials were turned in.
