COB'S CRACKERJACK PAVING HOT-SHOT CREW FINISHED AT OPI

VIEW OF FANTASTIC SCARIFYING AND REPAVING WORK BY COB CREW ON OLD PORT ISABEL ROAD LOOKING TOWARD COFFEEPORT FROM E. PRICE ROAD
FINISHED INTERSECTION OF HACKBERRY AND OPI LOOKING TOWARD COFFEEPORT

(Ed.'s Note: They worked through rain and cold these last two weeks, but the City of Brownsville in-house repaving crew which had already performed yeomen's work on E. Price from Paredes Line Road to the U.S. 77-83 frontage is finally done and produced top-of-the-line finished work on the pock-marked thoroughfare.

And before some commissioner or administrator tries to take the credit, the credit rightfully goes to the workers who were out in the elements braving irate motorists and funneling traffic to complete the job. And, of course, primarily to the taxpayers who are paying for it. If someone claims it's because of them, then are public works in Brownsville based on political influence? Really?

We're not sure what street is next on the scarifying/repaving rotation, but if it happens to be the one where one of our eight readers' resides, the crew counsels patience and civility. It's worth the wait to achieve a result like this. Kudos to them!)

Juan if you knew anything about anything, which you don’t, this was not in the works until a commissioner asked for it! So before you go discrediting anyone get your bias views together and be a proper journalist!

Yes, lines are crooked also:

Pavement is bumpy in some parts
Seams or joints of pavement are uneven and look bad.

Seems like quick work leads to poor quality.....but; it was worse.

So don't complain and if you do than do not vote for esos pendejos city commissioners again

the workers are doing the best they can with limited resources.

Where did they steal the money to pave the roads? Or is this coming from the increase of taxes hitting tax payers this year?
